The purpose of this group is to teach participants skills related to working with peers towards a common goal in group work. This program consists of therapist-led lessons as well and small group activities. The topics of instruction may include:

  • Character traits and strengths
  • Roles within a group
  • Self-advocacy
  • Giving and receiving feedback
  • Conflict resolution with peers
  • Disagreements with authority figures
  • Presentation skills
  • Organization and time management
