Strides Toronto’s Autism and Developmental Services offers a variety of high-quality programs to children, youth, and families living with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and developmental disabilities — from free Foundational Family Services for families registered with the Ontario Autism Program (OAP) to day programs designed for adults with ASD and/or developmental disabilities.

Ministry Funded OAP Services

OAP Core Clinical Services (CCS)
Fee-based Services
Core clinical services is one of the streams of support for children and youth registered with the OAP. Our Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) services under this category can be purchased using your OAP funding (i.e., AccessOAP CCS Funding, Interim One-time Funding, Childhood Budget), or personal financial resources including private insurance and charitable funds.
Applied Behaviour Analysis Services
1 to 1 ABA Services
This service is for children/youth who require individualized support across a few learning domains and teaches essential skills based on your child’s individual needs.
Group-based ABA Services
Group-based ABA Services focus on skill-building in the areas of communication, social skills, self-help skills or emotional regulation/group readiness skills.
ABA Behaviour Consultations
Behaviour Consultations are for families looking for support on a specific goal. ABA principles are applied to address your child individual strengths, needs, and goals.
Developmental Services
Fee-based Services
Programs under this category are designed for youth and adults with autism spectrum disorder and/or a developmental disability. The AYCES programs cater to youth with a diagnosis of High Functioning Autism.
Please note that these programs are NOT covered by the OAP funding.
