This group-based program will provide participants with opportunities to learn various skills needed for social skills development. We will use ABA strategies to teach early communication and social skills through various fun and engaging play activities.

Skills taught can include:

  • Early social skills (e.g., responding to greetings, approaching others)
    Early leisure activities and social play (e.g., playing independently, playing near other children, sharing with peers)
    Transitioning between various group and play activities

Skills We Focus On

Early social skills: responding to greetings and initiating interactions with peers.

Play & leisure skills: playing independently, alongside others, and sharing with peers.

Group participation skills: transitioning between different group and play activities.

This program is not suitable if your child:

Engages in behaviours that could cause injury to self or others

Needs consistent 1:1 support for learning
